Employer applications

Two relationship paths. One independent identity.

Some applications require approval from an employer, institution, provider, or government participant. Approval of one application does not grant access to another.

Patron-requested

The Patron requests an employer-related application.

  1. The relationship awaits employer review.
  2. piSun can notify the participating employer.
  3. An authorized representative accepts or rejects the relationship.
  4. Only an accepted relationship becomes active.

Rejection, no response, or expiration does not terminate the Patron's independent identity.

Employer-sponsored

An authorized employer initiates a prospective employee relationship.

  1. An existing Patron continues through piSun Access, or a new person creates their own piSun Identity.
  2. The individual completes future piSun enrollment requirements.
  3. The employer accepts or rejects only its relationship.

The employer does not create or own the person's independent identity.

The piSun identity belongs to the Patron. An organization controls only the relationship, role, or application for which it has authority.

When a Patron initiates an employer-related application, piSun can notify the participating employer so an authorized representative can review the relationship. Future notifications will use registered participating relationships; this portal does not send messages.
